Role overview
We are seeking a General Physician to provide evidence-based primary care, manage common acute and chronic conditions, and coordinate appropriate investigations, referrals and follow-up.
Reports to: Medical Director
Responsibilities
✓ Assess patients, take clinical histories and perform examinations.
✓ Diagnose and manage conditions within the licensed scope of practice.
✓ Order and interpret appropriate investigations and prescribe safely.
✓ Refer patients when specialist or emergency care is required.
✓ Document care and provide prevention, counselling and follow-up.
Requirements
✓ MBBS, MBChB or equivalent recognised medical degree.
✓ Completed recognised internship.
✓ Professional registration and eligibility for the General Practitioner title with the relevant UAE authority.
✓ Current BLS certification; additional emergency training is an advantage.
✓ Primary care assessment and clinical judgement
✓ Acute and chronic disease management
✓ Safe prescribing and referral decisions
✓ Patient counselling and shared decision-making
✓ Electronic records and multidisciplinary teamwork
Appointment is subject to appropriate UAE work authorization. State your current visa or work-permit status and notice period; employer arrangements will be confirmed during selection.
